No one really knows for sure. The true identity of that maniac
man with a mirror ball on his head is to this day a closely guarded
secret. Some say he's a genetic experiement by the military to
create the ultimate rhythmic soldier. Others say he's just some kid
who grew up somewhere in the backwoods of Minnesota. The world,
sadly, may never know.
There's something special about a room full of people dancing.
When the lights are shining and the bass is thumping, there's no
telling what can happen.
Historically, there are several cases of dancing being described
as a mental disease, or the result of a mass hysteria. People have
literally danced themselves to death in the streets without even so
much as a fiddler nearby to keep the time. While that sounds
scary and exaggerated. That's not always too far from the truth
when you're listening to Mr. Disco. People really do dance like
they've lost their minds and the only cure is more
dancing.
Yes, and you're not nearly as fly as she is. Stop trying so hard.
Seriously.
"If you hear disco and think of long haired pretty boys singing notes high enough to shatter crystal, you've got the wrong idea about what we're doing here.
Disco never really died. It went underground and morphed into
something much sillier."
